5 Myths About Blunts You Probably Still Believe in 2022

If you're like most people, you probably believe a few myths about blunts. You might think that blunts are always filled with weed, for example, or that they're always smoked for the psychoactive effects of THC. In reality, though, there are many different ways to enjoy a blunt - including using CBD instead of cannabis! Here are five myths about blunts that you probably still believe in 2022.

5 Myths About Blunts You Probably Still Believe in 2022

Myth #1: Blunts Are Hard To Roll

This is perhaps the most common myth about blunts. People often think that blunts are difficult to roll because of their wider shape. However, this isn't necessarily true. With a little practice, anyone can learn to roll a blunt quickly and easily.

Some people believe that you need to use a special type of paper or tobacco, but this is not the case. All you need is a little patience and practice.

Here are some tips on how to roll a blunt:

  • Start with a clean sheet of rolling paper. If it's your first time, you may want to use a size larger than usual so that you have more room to work with.

  • Place the weed in the center of the paper and begin to roll it up, tucking the paper as you go.

  • Once you reach the end of the paper, wet the glue strip with your tongue and seal the blunt closed.

  • To make sure your blunt is extra airtight, you can also twist the ends.

Myth #2: Blunts Are For Beginners Only

Blunts are often seen as a starter option for those new to smoking weed. This is because they’re relatively easy to roll and don’t require any special equipment. However, there are plenty of experienced smokers who enjoy blunts just as much as anyone else. Blunts are often smoked by experienced smokers because they offer smooth and flavorsome smoke.

Myth #3: Blunts Get You Higher

This is probably the most common blunt myth out there. People believe that because blunt wraps are thicker than cigarette papers, they must hold more THC and get you higher. However, this couldn't be further from the truth. The thickness of the blunt wrap has no bearing on how much THC it can hold. In fact, blunts usually have less THC than joints because they require more weed to fill them up. So if you're looking to get higher, stick to joints.

Blunts do not necessarily help you get higher. In fact, some experts believe that smoking from a blunt actually decreases the potency of THC, the main active ingredient in cannabis. However, this decrease in potency is typically only significant when the blunt has been smoked multiple times or if it was poorly rolled, to begin with.

Myth #4: Blunts Are More Addictive Than Joints

This myth is perpetuated by the fact that blunt wraps are often made from tobacco. Tobacco is a highly addictive substance, so it stands to reason that blunts would be too. However, this isn't necessarily the case. Cannabis is not considered to be addictive, and there is no evidence to suggest that smoking cannabis from a blunt wrap makes it more addictive than smoking it from a joint.

Myth #5: Blunts Are Cancerous

The myths about blunts being cancerous began circulating in the early 2000s. There was a study done by the American Cancer Society found that people who smoked cigarettes and cigars had an increased risk of developing cancer. However, the study did not specifically mention blunts.

Since then, there has been no scientific evidence to support the claim that blunts are cancerous. In fact, many experts believe that smoking a blunt is actually less harmful than smoking a cigarette. The tobacco in a blunt is generally of a lower quality than the tobacco in a cigarette, so it burns slower and produces less smoke.

While it's true that smoking tobacco can increase your risk of cancer, there's no evidence to suggest that smoking a blunt specifically puts you at any greater risk. So if you're worried about cancer, there's no need to avoid blunts altogether.

We’re not sure where these myths came from, but they’ve been around for a while and some people still believe them. If you’re one of those people, it’s time to set the record straight. Blunts are actually easier to roll than joints, great for beginners, and just as addictive (if not more so). They also provide the same level of high and are better for your lungs than joints.
